Let's
go Fishing Near Orlando on Your
Central Florida Saltwater
Fishing Connection!!!
Fishing
in the Orlando area--a sportfishing paradise! Imagine
beautiful clear water, with a redfish tailing in only
a foot of water ahead of you. Knowing how spooky the fish is, you
sneak up to it, cast your lure, and watch him suck it down! You set
the hook, your reel screams and the battle is
on!
Or you are on the open ocean chasing true monster fish like
tarpon, sharks, jack crevalle, cobia, king mackerel and more, yet are near
the Orlando attractions!
If you want to sample some of Florida's fabulous saltwater
fishing while you are in Central Florida near Orlando,
then you have come to the right place! Captain Keith Kalbfleisch
provides top-quality charters for saltwater gamefish on the flats, inshore,
and nearshore
on the Atlantic Coast. Captain Keith has over 30 years of
experience in saltwater fishing, and can provide you with a terrific
experience with conventional, spinning, or fly-fishing tackle.
Fishing barely an
hour from Orlando, Florida, Captain Keith Kalbfleisch, will guide you
to battlers that will make your reel scream and provide you a memorable
trip. Captain Keith is a full-time guide and an expert at saltwater
gamefish--not a part-time guide or a freshwater guide doing second
duty. He is a National
Pro Staff Captain for Bass Pro Shops, testing
their equipment and providing charters for their
customers, and is a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Casting
Instructor--a top captain by any measure!
See some of the
celebrities Captain Keith has fished with on the Celebrities Page!
Capt.
Keith is also on the Board of Directors for the Florida Guides Association,
the Indian River Guides Association, and is one of the featured
Certified Captains for the International
Game Fish Association (IGFA)--a top fishing honor. See
more about Captain Keith on the "The Captain"
page.
Our most
popular charter is Inshore on the flats, where you can fish the beautiful,
fabled Indian River system, including the famous Mosquito Lagoon you may
have seen on TV, for bulldogging Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum,
Tarpon, and Snook. This great fishing is light-tackle and
fly fishing at its finest,
with large fish caught in
the shallows of quiet backwaters and is year-round. And all of this saltwater fishing is
barely an hour from Orlando!
Inshore fishing is
great for kids with big fish, calm water, birds, dolphins, manatees and
more--see the Kids Katch Page!
This
exciting and challenging fishing is actually a "hunting" trip on the water
as captain Keith poles you stealthily along in inches of water while looking
for spooky fish. There is nothing more exciting than sneaking up on a
tailing redfish, making the perfect cast, watching the fish attack your lure
or fly, then fighting him to the boat!
During the summer,
Captain Keith fishes Nearshore near Orlando (on the Atlantic Ocean
within 15 miles of the beach), where we catch King Mackerel, Jumping Tarpon,
Monster Jack Crevalle, Strong Cobia, unusual Tripletail, Toothy Barracuda and
Streamlined
Sharks. Or even offshore on days where the weather permits for dolphin
(mahi-mahi), snapper, and more.
Whether
Inshore or Nearshore in the Orlando, Florida area, the fishing is fantastic! It will challenge all
levels of angler expertise from the expert fly-fishing angler to the person
that has never caught a fish! See more on the "Information"
page. And we provide lots of information for you--read our
Articles and see the
Information page! If you are looking for a different fishing
experience, like our famous largemouth bass fishing, or far offshore, let
Captain Keith set you up--he is well-connected in the local fishing
community and can refer you to the best captains and guides in the area!
Captain Keith uses top-quality
equipment, including the best of boats (see more about
The MTC boats on "The Boats" page).
Nearly everything is provided, including licenses, premium bait, lures or
flies, quality gear, digital photos, and Ice.
